is originally from Huyton near Liverpool, but now lives and works in Wrexham, North Wales.
He studied art at Prescot College before moving up North, where he studied Television Production & Design at the Northumberland College of Art & Technology.
After graduating, he moved to London, where he spent several years working his way up from Runner to Contestant Researcher with Reg Grundy Productions, working on shows like Going For Gold, How Do They Do That? and Eureka among others. He left Grundy and turned freelance, working for Action Time on shows such as Thinktank and Backdate.
Moving back to Liverpool, he returned to further his education at St Helen's College, before embarking on a degree in Animation at Glyndwr University in Wrexham.
He graduated in 2000 and now spends his time drawing Sketch Cards, ACEOs and portraits to order, writing audio scripts and children's books and he also sculpts using his preferred medium of found objects and tin. He is currently working on a series of sculptures based on classic children's literature, folk and fairy tales.
He is blissfully married to his best friend and soulmate Julie and they have three wonderful children. They live in a lovely semi-detached house in the beautiful Welsh countryside with three dogs, four cats, a guinea pig and four chickens!
